As a 2010-11 Hopkins Nanjing Center graduate, I gave a lecture titled, “France’s Presidential Election : Campaign, Candidates, and What to Expect.” : an overview of the political climate in France, the forces in place and their implications for domestic and foreign policy, as well as the aspirations of the French community overseas (numbering 3 million people).
